In addition to continuing to be Amal Clooney’s most devoted husband, George Clooney also stopped on the red carpet of the 45th annual Kennedy Center Honors to assist her in showcasing her magnificent gown.
The couple looked stunning together as they dressed for the black tie event and attended the Artist’s Dinner at the Department of State in Washington, DC.
The actor, who was dressed in a traditional black tuxedo, looked dashing as he posed for photos with his lawyer wife Amal.
On the red carpet, the 44-year-old lawyer dazzled in a floor-length off-the-shoulder gown with a cape that trailed behind her as she walked.
George was captured in a tender moment fixing the back of his wife’s dress before they posed together for the cameras, so it was picked up looking its finest.
The annual honours awards, which celebrate performers for their lifetime achievements to American culture, were supported by George and Amal, who were present to show their support.
Since 1978, The Kennedy Awards have been given out annually, and in December, a dinner honouring the five recipients takes place.
“Growing up in a tiny town in Kentucky, I could never have thought that someday I’d be the one sitting in the balcony at the Kennedy Center Honors,” the Ticket to Paradise actor said of the accolade.
It is a pleasure to be featured alongside the rest of these outstanding talents.
The entire Clooney family will find this surprise to be genuinely exciting.
Along with the Hollywood star, other honorees for the previous year were Gladys Knight, American composer, conductor, and educator Tania León, who was born in Cuba, and the renowned Irish rock band U2, which was made up of Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr.
