As the Punjabi Hip-Hop community eagerly awaits Karan Aujla’s upcoming full-length album with Ikky this summer, the renowned rap sensation continues his meteoric rise to global fame.
In a surprising move today, the formidable emcee and songwriter ventured into the glamorous world of motorsports and connected with Alfa Romeo Team Stake’s superstar drivers, Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu. Aujla’s collaboration with the motorsport icons is part of his extensive partnership with Stake.
Apart from Aujla, who often places substantial bets on Indian cricket through the platform, Hip-Hop pioneer Drake has frequently shared his Stake receipts involving the NBA as well. Alfa Romeo F1 unveiled an exclusive short clip showcasing the participation of the “52 Bars” emcee alongside the influential F1 motorsport drivers. Watch the clip here.
Aujla’s association with Alfa Romeo’s motorsport athletes comes amidst high anticipation for his upcoming rap album this summer. The debut full-length project, executive produced by Punjabi Hip-Hop superproducer Ikky, was confirmed by Aujla in March, marking an extraordinary rollout following the release of the “Four You” EP.
The Ikky-produced EP featured three explosive Punjabi rap tracks by Aujla – “52 Bars,” “Yeah Naah,” and “Take It Easy” – along with an immersive pop record titled “Fallin Apart.”
Indeed, Aujla has been making remarkable strides in his rap career. In addition to the “Four You” EP, he collaborated with Indian Hip-Hop superstar Badshah on “Players,” preceded by his hard-hitting rap single “On Top.”
Most recently, Aujla teamed up with his frequent collaborator, Punjabi rap superproducer Yeah Proof, on “P.O.V.”
As previously reported, it remains to be seen whether this intense rap track will be featured on Aujla’s upcoming album. However, since he has confirmed that the album will be a joint effort with Ikky, fans can anticipate fresh records from “Geetan Di Machine.”
