Sexyy Red has once again found herself at the center of controversy, but this time, it’s over a rumor about her performing at Donald Trump’s upcoming rally. The rapper, known for her unapologetic style and blunt public statements, has been vocal about her political views. Despite her recent praise for Trump, Sexyy Red has made it clear that she will not be performing at his rally scheduled for August 3 in Atlanta, Georgia.

The speculation began with a tweet from Thee Pop Feed, which suggested that Sexyy Red would be performing at Trump’s rally, aiming to counterbalance high-profile hip-hop endorsements received by Kamala Harris during her recent rally. The rumor quickly gained traction but was soon debunked by Sexyy Red herself.

In response to the rumor, Sexyy Red took to social media to refute the claim, quoting the original tweet with a blunt denial: “Dey fakin dats cap.” This comes after her controversial performance in front of a giant MAGA hat at the 2024 Roots Picnic, which drew significant backlash. Following the event, she stated she would not be endorsing any presidential candidate in the upcoming election—except for herself. “It’s Sexyy Red 4 President,” she tweeted on June 3. “I’m my own candidate I’m not endorsing anybody period.”

While Trump may not have Sexyy Red’s support, other rappers like Kodak Black and Lil Pump have publicly voiced their support for the former President. Kodak Black even expressed willingness to financially back Trump, while Lil Pump has defended him against criticism.

Despite the political chatter, Sexyy Red remains focused on her music career and self-styled political ambitions.
